it is not the end yet

dahil isa akong to-die-for harry potter fan at im desperate to have a book for free kaya i wanna try this contest. well heto ang tanong “If you were given the chance to make an alternate ending of book 7, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, how would you write it?” exciting hindi ba? well dahil hindi ko pa talaga alam ang ultimate ending ng book so i will create my own talaga. so heto na, dont worry walang spoiler kasi nga di ko pa nababasa ang book. hehe.

The Last Chapter

Over the Dark Night

"Kill the boy..."

"Kill the boy...."

"Kill."

Harry's mind is swirling at the depths of his dream. He want to wake up but he don't want to open his eyes. Lord Voldemort is gone. He will never ever come back! He is not ready to face the reality that awaits him. The dark feeling is rushing back! The last voice after the duel with the dark Lord rang to his ears... "NOOOOO!"

"NOOOO!" Repeatedly! Over and over again! The horror flashed back as if in Muggle movies.

"Kill the boy!" Lord Voldemort spat at Professor Mc Gonagall. She was under the Imperius curse. Hogwarts lie in ruins as smoke arises from the ruined towers. Professor Mc Gonagall dreamily lifted her right hand, her wand raised as if a serpent ready to strike. "Kill the boy!"

"I know you can do it Professor! You know how to..." Harry is hopeless, he is fully aware that the headmistress is in the Dark Lord's mercy now. The moon hid herself at the clouds as if afraid in what she will soon witness. "Controll it! STOP IT!" Harry struggled as Lestrange and Draco Malfoy hold him back.

Professor Mc Gonagall fixed her blank eyes at him. The dangerous looking wand is aiming straight at his heart.

"CAN'T YOU HEAR ME? KILL THE BOY!" barked Lord Voldemort. "KILL HIM NOW!"

Without further announcement, the wand of the headmistress sprang with green sparks...

crack!

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" out of nowhere, Ginny appeared horrorstruck.

Harry was so shocked to react. Now, he doesn't need Hermione's explaination why Ginny can apparate at Hogwarts grounds now. Lord Voldemort used his power to break the enchanted barrier, now Dumbledore was months dead. Everyone fell silent, as if the whole place was in mute. Ginny fell lifelessly beside the struggling Harry. All he knows is that after what happened, he doesn't to deserve to live. And he thought that he was better to be murdered too rather than feel the pain of losing someone all over again. He is convinced that he is dead, floating like Nearly-Headless Nick...

As he open his eyes, tears started to flow. He almost forgot how to feel pain and sadness. The war caused him too much, even forgetting to be human was one of the things he did unconciously erase from his mind. He stared at the white ceiling of St. Mungo's. He doesn't know how Voldemort and the others were killed, all he know is, they are gone and he is not ready to wake up.

"Harry"

Harry jumped. He looked at his right. Aunt Petunia stared at him with care and again, he is proud to say that she is the sister of his mom.

"It was over." Aunt Petunia put her hands at her face and in a muffled voice she added, "Ginny is dead. He is gone (reffering to the Dark Lord) and... the headmistress... she can't speak!"

Harry just looked at her aunt. He discovered months ago that his aunt is a Squib and she was just tremendously jelous over her sister, his mother, that is why she is sulking behind her. Uncle Vernon left her bringing Dudley with him after he found out about his wife. Aunt Petunia was then left and housed in the Burrow with the Weasleys. The door opened and the rest appeared, Hermione, Fred and George, Bill, Percy and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. Another lost for the Weasleys, Harry thought bitterly. After Charlie struggled with the dementors, then Ron who saved Hermione against the death eaters, and now their only daughter, Ginny, who was murdered by the most evil wizard of all time. He can't look at their eyes. Hermione just cried along with the others and gave him a big hug.

"It's my fault." Harry managed to find his voice. "She is dead."

"Harry, no it's not your fault... we are about to tell-" Mr. Weasley was about to tell something but a stern look from Mrs. Weasley stopped him. Nobody dared to say that the dark Lord managed to escape. Lestrange was killed by the Aurors and Draco Malfoy was saved from the Imperius curse while Professor Mc Gonagall was saved too but she was traumatized about what she had done. She can't speak as of the moment.

Mourning is the best word to fill their day. Besides, good morning is not in their vocabulary as of now. The wizarding world is facing a greater peril. The final battle is supposed to end but things are not meant to happen. Months flocked by, only few are aware that the Dark Lord is not dead. He is just hiding, ready to strike again and start another reign of terror. He is not finish with Harry.

The funeral of Ginny disrupted Harry's life. He is now staying with the Weasleys with Aunt Petunia. Everything that he is fond of are gone, Ron, Ginny, Hogwarts... is there any good ray of hope that awaits Harry? Well happy endings are meant to be in fairytales but he is totally aware that his story is not all about the happiness in life. It may have fairies and good-old magic but there is still tragedy and darkness present. He realized that happy endings are not for him. As the days past by, the wizarding world is convinced that the Dark Lord is really dead-again. They are almost back in their normal lives. The Ministry is planning to restore Hogwarts and every thing is in positive condition. Until one fateful day at the heart of London, were Muggles reside, a dark mark appeared in the sky. The message is very very clear.

It is not the end.

Well sorry for the grammatical errors. ayan lang ang sanhi ng aking pangarap na magkaroon ng Harry Potter 7 sa aking bday. hehe. happy birthday to me! ngayong araw ang official opening ng aking buhay sa adult world. gosh im 20 and i can't believe it! well sabi ko nga it is not the end. hehe
